We've updated all of our shipping methods to use primarily UPS, Ground, 2-day or Overnight service.
We're doing this to reduce pressure on the post office through November, in additions to giving more visibility on shipment tracking. Customers have encountered multiple delays spanning weeks on shipments, usually held up by huge volume at the local post office on our outbound side.
This is not a general win - we've negotiated a lower shipping rate with UPS, but its no match for the value of the post office for small packages. Our previous free shipping tier is now set at $150 and will use Ground shipments.
