AcroStar Mega4Z LED Emitter Star / LED Puck (16 x 3W LEDs)

16 Lumileds Luxeon Z LEDs blended into one star board, arranged as four channels.

Features:

  • 6x #4 screw mounting holes available, fits into T-slot rails of most heat sinks, or to custom drilled and tapped heatsinks.
  • Push in connectors for stranded and solid wire. Ejection tool (included) or small flat head screwdriver to remove wires. Compatible with 20-26 gauge wire
  • Up to 48W of power per star
  • Dense packing of LEDs ensures even spectrum available at any point, unlike fixtures with large grids of multiple colored LEDs
  • Available Ledil reflector (Brooke Wide) with ~ 50 degree angle. Available with custom laser cut acrylic diffuser grid which mounts onto the reflector to provide smooth lighting and reduces shadowing and color fringing at the edges of the reflector throw
  • Integrated 10kohm thermistor for measuring temperature of the PCB

Dimensions: 2.1 inches x 1.7 inches (1.7 inch diameter)

A high quality extruded aluminum heat sink of at least 6 degreesC/W/cubic-inch is required. Active cooling of the heatsink is strongly suggested. Sparing use of a high quality heat sink compound is required to maintain temperatures of the LEDs

20k Blue

Full spectrum LED arrangement in 4 channels:

  • Channel 1: 5x Royal Blue (450nm); 1A max current, 15V required
  • Channel 2: High CRI full spectrum white channel: 2x 4000k Neutral White, 2x 2700k Warm White (for full spectrum coverage, including green, red, amber, and beyond), 1A max current, 12V required
  • Channel 3: 4x Blue (485nm); 1A max current, 12V required
  • Channel 4: 2x Cyan (500nm), 1x Blue (485nm); 1A max current, 9V required

Maximum PAR at 12 inches

  • No reflector: 260 PAR (widest spread option)
  • Reflector: 940 PAR (maximum focused light)
  • Reflector with Diffuser: 520 PAR (even light spread over a wider area)

20k Blue Pro With Violet

Full spectrum LED arrangement in 4 channels:

  • Channel 1: 4x Royal Blue (450nm), 1x Warm White (2700k, 80+CRI); 1A max current, 15V required
  • Channel 2: 2x Royal Blue (450nm), 1x 425nm Violet (Luxeon UV), 1x 415nm Violet (Luxeon UV); 1A max current, 12V required
  • Channel 3: 1x Lime, 1x Warm White (2700k, 80+CRI), 1x Royal Blue, 1x Neutral White (4000k, 80+CRI); 700mA max current, 12V required
  • Channel 4: 1x Blue (485nm), 1x Royal Blue (450nm), 1x Cyan (500nm); 1A max current, 9V required.

AcroStar Half-Mega LED Emitter Star / Puck (8 x 3W LEDs)

8 Lumileds Luxeon Z LEDs blended into one star board, arranged as two channels. Available in three distinct spectral distributions

Features:

  • 6x #4 screw mounting holes available, fits into T-slot rails of most heat sinks, or to custom drilled and tapped heatsinks.

  • Up to 24W of power per star
  • Dense packing of LEDs ensures even spectrum available at any point, unlike fixtures with large grids of multiple colored LEDs
  • Available wide-angle reflector with custom laser cut acrylic diffuser. The diffuser mounts on top of the reflector to provide smooth lighting and reduces shadowing and color fringing at the edges
  • Integrated 10kohm thermistor for measuring temperature of the PCB.

18k Blue

Full spectrum LED arrangement in 2 channels:

  • Channel 1: 3x Royal Blue (450nm); 1x Blue (485nm); 1A max current, 12V capable driver required
  • Channel 2: High CRI full spectrum channel: 1x 4000k Neutral White, 1x Lime, 1x Cyan, 1x Blue, 700mA max current, 12V required

Maximum PAR at 12 inches

  • No reflector: 136 PAR (widest spread option)
  • Reflector with Diffuser: 290 PAR (even light spread over a wider area)


20k Pro Blue

Full spectrum LED arrangement in 2 channels. This features a Luxeon UV Violet LED at 420nm. Luxeon UV LEDs are the state of the art in violet LEDs, in this case achieving over 40% efficiency which no other violet LED is capable of reaching (including SemiLEDs, etc). Luxeon UV LEDs add significant cost to the star (being 10x more expensive than the nearest import), but are unmatched in performance.

  • Channel 1: 3x Royal Blue (450nm); 1x Blue (485nm); 1A max current, 12V required
  • Channel 2: 1x 4000k Neutral White, 1x 420nm Violet (Luxeon UV), 1x Cyan, 1x Royal, 1A max current, 12V required

  • No reflector: 80 PAR
  • Reflector with Diffuser: 205 PAR
  • Reflector only: 380 PAR


Daylight Freshwater

  • Channel 1: 3x 4000k Neutral White (High CRI); 1x Lime. 700mA max current, 12V required
  • Channel 2: 3x 2700k Warm White, 1x 485nm Blue, 1A max current, 12V required
